This workshop is part of a nationally touring series of programs developed by NQAPIA, the National Queer Asian Pacific Islander Alliance in conjunction with their PSA project "Family Is Still Family". It will feature Marsha, a Japanese mother of a transgender son and author of Two Spirits, One Heart, and Laurin, a mixed-race Japanese mother of a gay son and author of One of a Kind, Like Me, a children's book that uplifts those who don't fit gender stereotypes.
