2022 Annual Child Welfare Law Update Conference

On Friday August 5, 2022, the Annual Child Welfare Law Update conference was held at Ko’olau Ballrooms and Conference Center in Kaneohe, Oahu. Topics included the following:

  • Child Welfare Statutory Changes and Appellate Decisions
  • Judiciary and Executive Branch: Child Welfare Initiatives, Accomplishments, and Plans for 2022-2023
  • Youth Participation in the Court Process
  • Handling Unidentified Perpetrator Cases
  • Community Program Updates
  • Best Practices for Handling CWS Cases: Case Initiation to Case Closure
  • Confidentiality in CWS Cases
