“Bridging the Gap” Workshop Handouts
At the Bridging the Gap training presented by nationally renowned speaker Denise Goodman for FCTC on August 25, 2015, resource families and service providers learned how building and maintaining relationships with birth families benefit children in foster care.

Dr. Goodman has many years of experience in social work as a consultant to numerous public and private agencies in the areas of separation, attachment, adoption and foster care. She has worked in child welfare as a resource caregiver, childcare worker, ongoing protective worker and coordinator of residential treatment.
