Hawaii's Foster Care Resource

Native Hawaiian Tutorial Project

Federally funded project designed to reach Native Hawaiian foster children eligible for Special Education Services and resideing in Waipahu and surrounding areas. Each student will receive at least 2 hours each week of one-on-one direct instruction. The tutors will go to school, the foster home or any other place the student needs. The criteria for eligibility for this free program is: 1. Foster children (ward of the state, not family supervision), 2. Native Hawaiian ancestry, and 3. Sped or 504 eligible or qualified.

This federally-funded program is absolutely free and will be done by highly trained educators with SPED experience all of whom will undergo training.
