Hawaii's Foster Care Resource

Hawai`i Autism Foundation

Hawaii Autism Foundation‘s mission is to educate and help Hawaii families find and fund treatments for Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The Foundation was started by filmmakers Don & Julianne King who created the movie Beautiful Son, a personal story of their family’s journey to find help & healing for their son Beau – www.beautifulson.com in 2007. They established Hawaii Autism Foundation as a non-profit, 501c(3) with the help of a group of local parents who share a vision to help families access treatments for children with autism in Hawaii. With autism affecting 1 in 91 children, finding solutions is an urgent priority. Children in Hawaii have a particularly difficult time accessing treatments due to geographic isolation & costs.
